Making your decision.

Last Wills, for whatever reason, are something that most people think about, and realise the importance of, but often they don’t get around to making one, thus eventually leaving their loved ones in a needless panic at a time when they most need reassurance.

Once you have decided to go ahead and "Make Your Last Will and Testament" you will need to complete the Instruction form on this site, for either a single last will, or for mirror (Two) last wills. You can do this now by clicking on the appropriate form.

When we receive your cheque?

We shall prepare, based on your submitted instructions, a first draft of your Last Will & testament and then email it to you for alteration or correction. We may also ask you for any other information we feel may be relevant, or that may need to be included, and advise you of any other options you may have.

When you have familiarized yourself with the first draft of your last will, and returned it to us with your corrections, questions, additions or approval, we will then prepare the second draft Will, and again we will email you the second draft. We shall repeat this process until you are satisfied that the will is as you wish. Once you are satisfied that the will is as you wish we will post it to you, complete with full instructions on how to get your will witnessed.

Receiving your will in the post.

When you receive your last will by post, you will already be familiar with its contents and assured that it is just how you planned it to be, and if not, you can simply return it to us free of charge for re-drafting.

ANNUAL RETAINER SERVICE Making Changes to Your Last Will

Hear are a few of the reasons that you may wish to alter your will in the future, for example if you marry or divorce, Have children, or more children, to add or replace executors, trustees, guardians or beneficiaries, if you do, we would strongly advise that you make a new will.

You will receive at the same time as your will a standing order form which if completed and returned to us will give you the opportunity to take advantage of our retainer service. Where for £5.00 per Annum, per last will, you will be able to alter, add, change your details or completely re-write your last will at any time for no extra cost. We will also keep a copy of your will enabling us to send you copies if required in the event of loss, damage, or for any other reason. This offer can only be taken if you complete and return the standing order form which accompanies your last will and testament. The first payment for this will commence on the first of the month, one full month after you receive your last will. (Example if you receive your last will on the 3rd of January, your first annual payment would be the 1st of March and annually thereafter).

THE LAW REQUIRES YOU TO:

YOU NEED TO BE AWARE THAT YOUR LAST WILL IS NOT VALID UNTIL YOU HAVE SIGNED IT IN THE PRESENCE OF WITNESSES. WITNESSES CAN NOT BE ANY PERSON WHO IS MENTIONED IN THE LAST WILL. Full details and instructions for signing your last will, shall be enclosed with your last will and testament.

WiseWills reserve the right to remind you and insist that you have your last will witnessed as soon as possible, without prejudice, after you have received and checked your last will for errors. We also require proof of witnessing and would expect the relevant form included with your last will to be signed and returned to us for our records.
